The Meeting House family of churches exists to honour God by helping spiritually seeking people become fully devoted followers Christ. It began in 1986 as a Brethren in Christ Church plant in Oakville. Bruxy Cavey leads this Church of over 1,300 people toward a new growth.

Our Oakville Site relocated this year to an old movie theatre and is in the process of preparing to go from 2 to 3 Sunday morning services to accommodate the growth.

Our Hamilton satellite site was launched in February of 2002. Our hope is to launch more satellite sites over the next few of years in the GTA.

The Church remains committed to being both Bible-based and culturally relevant. Sunday services use everything from the arts to various forms of media to communicate a solid Biblical message.

Midweek "Home Churches" are offered on different days, in different cities. This gives time for deeper study and practical application of the previous Sunday's topic.

All this can be summed up in their church motto – The Meeting House: A Church For People Who Aren't Into Church.
