Community Mennonite Church of Stouffville formed in
1996 with a core group of young families from Hagerman Mennonite Church.
Since then, our church has grown, with 60 people attending worship and
30 children participating in Sunday School.
Our congregation provides an inter generational worship
service and Christian nurture settings such as Sunday School for children
and adult, sewing circle and various small groups -- both social and
study.
Mission-wise, our congregation strives to relate to
the contemporary spiritual seeker, along with serving our neighbour
through the Canadian FoodGrains project, and encouraging a conflict
mediation program at the local high school.
