Wideman Mennonite Church has roots in the early 1800's. The traditional values of family and community are still present as the congregation anticipates the 21 st century.

However, like Markham itself, the church has changed.

A diversity of vocations, a mix of families and singles, a range of ages from babies to grandparents, a blend of established people and new arrivals: in all these ways and more, the church is dynamic and welcoming.
